Bottle at GBBF 2013 - London. Many thanks to Fergus for the share! Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. The nose has some yeasty bread, light ripe fruits and apple. Medium sweet flavour with dry apple, applesauce, light dough. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with more applesauce, modest bready malts and some touches of baked beans. Very so so and a little bit weird.

Bottle at GBBF 2013, thanks to Fergus. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is toast, wood, leather, earth, brown bread and spice. The taste is wood, earth, resin, toast, light sweetness, caramel, dried fruit and touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Touch of sourness also. Medium body and average carbonation.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle, thanks to Fergus. Light haze on this amber beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Light crisp palate. Sourish orange over a little creamy malt, thin. Mild minerals. Comes together quite well.

Bottle from GBBF 2013 drunk at home. Belgian yeast on this? Esters. It’s either that or it’s infected. Some ok malt, average hop. Nothing exceptional. I’d say this was a Belgian Ale, but what do I know. Drinkable enough.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden amber color with a small foamy yellow-white head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet an yeasty with notes of pine and tropical fruits. The flavor was tangy and a bit tart with sugar and strong tropical fruits. Long sugar and tropical fruit finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done.

Sample at the Big Tap In on 04/20/2013. Pours a slightly cloudy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast and lemons. Light to medium body with flavors of banana, yeast and citrus. The finish is tart with an overripe fruit and yeast aftertaste. Barely average overall.
