This rich and luscious brew indulges in flavor with over 28Ibs of pumpkin per barrel, for a full bodied sweetness and deep russet color. Classic pumpkin pie spices of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice ignite a warmth and spark that’s deepened by an undercurrent of roasty smoked malts. The result is a delectable brew full of enveloping layers of flavor and spice.

Bottle. Deep, amber color, medium head that quickly disappears. Aroma and taste is the usual spicy pumpkin ale smell and flavor. Stronger gravity and I sure feel it.

Bottle.
Very dark and murky amber/brown pour, with a large beige head. Lots of sweet, bready malts, with some subtle spicing. Not in your face, just enough so you know there are there. The pumpkin is actually there in the flavour, some sweet pumpkin flesh flavours and a spicy finish. I’m impressed, the spicing isn’t over the top and I can actually taste pumpkin. Now yes, it’s a tad boozy, and the finish had a lingering sweetness, but all in all, a nice pumpkin beer.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a clear orange with a tiny bit of head. Tons of yam, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Sweet, but not cloying. A tad boozy, but fun.

Sampled at ABR 2015.Brown color. Pumpkin is very light and in fact I didn’t pick it up until a friend pointed it out. some squash/pumpkin flavor now that I look for it, none of the spice qualities I usually get in a pumpkin beer. I do not get the cinnamon, ginger or nutmeg.

(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of caramel, dark bread, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin. Malty, fruity, spicy taste with caramel, treacle-toffee, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, wort bread and a sweetish finish with a gentle bitterness and a slightly vinous touch. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. I’m not a great fan of pumpkin beers and it gets a bit sweet after a while, but it’s quite well made and tasty, with the ginger coming through more and more. Quite nice.
