Can 33cl. from a local street market @home poured into a teku glass. Hazy deep ruby brown colour, thin obeige head, mosly diminishing, some lacing. Aroma sweet malt, some roast, dark fruits, caramel, some cocoa, alcohol, spicy notes. Taste above medium sweet and light bitter, malty, dark chocolate, dark fruits, fortified wine, liquorice, warming alcohol, anise seed, some cinnamon. Full-bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, quite boozy, enjoyable after dinner beer, good.

330ml bottle courtesy of Simon, shared between five at the March 2017 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange meeting. Poured almost black or very dark brown, small tanned topping. Aroma reminded me of Vimto, so dark berries in the nose I suppose. Taste was fairly sweet with a caramel leaning with a chocolate coating. My sweet tooth liked it.
