Cask at the Holborn Whippet, London. Pours a light hay yellow-gold with a thick, white foam head. Decent nose, lots of straw and zesty lemon. Light sweet flavor with dry hay bitterness, crunchy cereal, dough, mild lemony citrus. Light bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Lightly sweet finish with soft bitter hay, biscuits, straw, mild citrus rind. Very restrained in character overall though nicely nuanced and very drinkable.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 23rd May 2012. Pale gold with thin off-white head decaying to almost nothing. Hoppy, slightly savoury aroma. Richly fruity in-mouth, with light hoppiness and just a touch of saltiness. Bitter flash then a bittersweet finish. Light, smooth mouthfeel. Delicious yet light session ale, perfect for a warm summers eve.

Cask condition handpull Sheffield Tap. Pale clear gold lasting white head. Just a really tasty light golden ale with enough hop bite on the finish to keep you interested. Superb. Great morning drink.
