slightly cloudy orange-gold, with a small, fast disappearing bubbly white head, and a funky, woody aroma. There's an initial kick of tart apples in the taste which evolves into a medium sweet flavour

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Pale golden and very dry textured, however quite sweet with an evident strength. Good apple flavour.

500ml bottle from Glug, Newcastle. Particularly dry, woody taste, some vanilla with furry tannins on the tongue and a sharp alcohol tang. Definitely a grower.

500ml bottle from BeerMerchants. Clear golden colour, foam white head that dissipates away and aroma of juicy apple, vanilla. Taste is tart fruity apple, sweetish with some woody notes. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry tannin in the finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 This bottle was purchased at Sportsman pub, Huddersfield earlier in the year. Some bruised apples in mouth, touch woody, tastes like it is made with some dessert apples though the description seems to suggest traditional cider apples, subtle on nose, sweet then running to dryness in the mouth. Good cider. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
