Plastic bottle at Nate Dawg’s Birthday Throwdown, thanks to Paul. Clearish pale yellow pour, white head. Has a sweet malt nose with some crackers. Delicious flavor, biscuits and crackers, faint bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good, balanced finish, more crackers, some doughy bread, light sugar. Very nice, solid beer overall.

5th November 2011
Nate2Gs Birthday Bash at Kernel. Clear gold beer, short lived white head. Palate is a little crisp with decent fine carbonation. Nice clean pale malts - no paper! Mild tangy fruit from the supressed hop. Finishes semi dry. A decent clean pils and very drinkable.

Bottle at Beer Factory, Athens. It pours golden yellow, with a thick fluffy white head. The nose is wood, sawdust, dough, yeast and toasted malt. The taste is brown bread, hay, straw, yeast, dough, light spice and lime. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. A great beer to enjoy the Greek sun.

Bottle 500ml. [ Plastic bottle ].Clear medium yellow colour with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, moderate to light heavy hoppy, fruity, light metalic, initial aroma has butter notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, dry, hoppy, crispy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111007]

Golden-accented bronze. Big head. The aroma is fuggley, a bit buttery with light caramel accents. Fresh-tasting, lively with again the earthy hop overtones and lighter, softer caramels than in the pasteurized version.

PET-Bottle, thanks Nightfall! Cloudy golden, beautiful rich, firm, creamy head. Buttery malt aroma. Dryish, firm and soft. Buttery malt with spritzy carbonation and grassy hop bitterness. Fresh, tasty and very drinkable. I love it, but it will probably be too buttery for others. To me this is a superb uncomplicated hot weather beer! Well made quality lagers are so overlooked these days by most people.

I was looking for this for quite sometime and finally found it on Beer Factory. usually it’s only served on tap at the brewery, but you can find it in PET (!) 1lt bottles with 40 days expiration date. Much more intense and hoppy than any other greek pilsner. Nice.
