This English Vintage Cider combines rich, complex apple flavours with fruity sweetness and a soft sparkle. This medium bodied cider is made with selected traditional bittersweet apples from a single year's harvest. Crafted by an independent, family run business based in rural Herefordshire. Serve with a Pork Pie or Traditional Ploughman's.

500ml bottle @ 6.8%. Pours clear gold with small circular bubbled retention. Aroma of green apple skins, some funk, sweet and tart notes. Taste is sweet and tangy apple juice, slightly acidic, some apple peel, slight dryness but its a sweet cider overall. Lacks some complexity but is nice.

500ml bottle. 2012 Harvest, Dabinett & Redstreak apples. Deep golden colour, short lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of tangy apple, apple skin, woody oak. Taste is sweetish dry apple, apple skins, woody oak, vanilla, with some acidity and tannin. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium bodied, high carbonation, drying tannic finish. Quite OK.

Bottle from Sainsbury. Clear deepish gold collar of white bubbles. Taste the Difference 2011 harvest Dabinett and Redstreak apples 6% abv. Thatchers cider. Sweetish apple aroma some sparkle in the mouth ok apple skin finish. Pleasant enough with some interest on the finish. Some dryness too.. ok

Bottle of the 2010 Vintage at home in London with Lyoli, during the opening ceremony. Pours clear gold, effervescent with a fading, white head. Mild apple nose with some musty dankness. Light to medium sweet flavor with subtle apples, hints of spices, a bit of dry musk and mold. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Finishes lightly dry and semi-sweet, with modest apples, some apple skins. Itโs a very subtle cider - some might even say bland. Easy drinking, either way.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, woody apples, dry apples. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, thin, light dry. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110804]
