Bottle at the Night of Garbage, thanks to LK Smith - the host with a lot of stairs, 20/12/13. Hazed orange amber with a thin off white covering - don’t look no mild ! Nose is thin, papery, light fruit, apple sauce, hint of wood. Taste comprises light strains of fruit - orchard leanings, paper, vague toffee, dull. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry closure. Pretty sub par mild, doesn’t look like a mild and tastes largely of paper - yeah, that’s selling this one to y’all !!!

The (not so) shit beer tasting at Leighton’s stratospheric flat. Hazy deep amber beer with a decent pale cream coloured head. Light dry palate with just modest carbonation. Tangy dried fruits and somewhat insipid dry malt. Whisper of spice before a dry finish. Dull.

Bottle thanks to Leighton at the Night of Garbage. It pours deep amber-brown with a small white head. The nose is wood, caramel, leather, dried apple and toast. The taste is wood, leather, toast, earth, dried fruit and light spice with a very dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Alright, but far from exciting. OK.

Bottle shared at the Night of Garbage. Grabbed this off the Internet. Pours lightly unclear amber with a frothy off-white head. Light fruits in the nose, dry bread, leaves, apple. Light sweet flavor with dried fruits, grainy bread, dirty leaves. Light bodied with average carbonation. Light sweetness to finish with more bitter leaves, mellow apple and leathery fruits. Ho hum.

Cask-conditioned at Great Western Hotel, Exeter 12/05/2012. Mahogany in colour with a decent, off-white head. Sweet damson fruits, toasted malts and a touch of nuttiness, before a gently bitter finish. Good.
