Tap at Sly Fox. Filtered yellow-tan. Respectable noble hop character. Doughy, nice lager tones. Pretty solid offering. I could drink a lot of this.

Can from Wholefoods. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a decent white head. The nose is grassy, spicy, sweet cereal, touch of nougat and white bread. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, grassy, sweet cereal, creamy aspect and white bread with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Crisp and tasty. A very good lager. Satisfying.

Can. Pours pale yellow with small frothy white head, faintly doughy aroma, crisp malt taste, abrupt finish with a tangy end. It does remind one of Geman beers, but still not too spectacular.

Bunch of 12oz pours at Lavanga in DC. Pours a murky straw yellow with some creamy, white head. Nose is fairly standard for a lager, yeast, straw, some dough notes, lemon. Flavor is consistent, enough lemony bite to cut through any sweeter marmalade notes, doughy, biscuit. Clean finish.

Not too bad, but still lacking some of the crispness of the continental varieties. Nice body, et al but falls short

Can from reggiedunlop. Pours pale gold with a foamy/creamy white head. Aroma is bready and spicy. Near med body. Flavor is bready, saaz spicy, and has a touch of grape flavor. Decent pils.

Clear light golden beer in a shaker, poured from can. Earthy hops over that pilsener taste, nicely balanced. Mildly bitter aftertaste.

Can from MrBarleywine, thanks for the opportunity Mike! Just a touch of haze in a deep straw colored liquid, topped with a creamy bubbly bone white head that persists forever leaving lots of stickies on the sides of the glass. Crackery bready malt aromas are nicely balanced with a bit of spicy floral hop. Light sulfur rounds out the nose. The flavor is rich bready crackery pilsner malt with spicy hop to counter. Slight metallic flavor towards the end is a bit off putting. I can imagine that this was a better beer when fresher, but I just noticed that this can is best by July 2014. Still no excuse for the metallic flavor. I will rate as is and hopefully get a chance to sample again.
