On handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Tuesday 24th March 2015 Clear amber with a filmy white head, superbly clear. Fruity and a little malty, a little banana toffee swirl, bitterness bites late on. Quite traditional but also quite nice. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Cask handpul at Hope Spoons Reading. Clear pale gold colour with thin off white head. Its an ok golden ale with some softish citrus hops on the end. Some sting on finish. Nothing wrong with it nothing jars. Its fine. Slightly better than average uk golden ale.

[Cask at the William Robert Loosley (JDW), High Wycombe] Deep gold, cream head. A bit of fruit, a hint of spice, and some grassiness. Nice full mouthfeel. It’s pleasant enough, but a bit of a mish mash - not sure Loddon quite knew where they were going with this one?
