500ml bottle; BB 28th August 2022. Drank at home on 4th September 2021. I allowed a little sediment to leave the bottle, so my amber beer had a slight haze to it's appearance, thin white head on top. Decent enough traditional UK beer, nice easy blend of malty molasses and fruity hops, malts just about win on both the aroma and flavour.

Cask @ Moon Under Water, Milton Keynes. Darker clear golden in colour, it's a sweet fruity ale and somewhat overbearing for it. It has a hop-malt balance and a late bitterness.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Golden amber with a tight cream head that left lots of lacing on the glass; floral aroma; creamy body with some sweet purple fruit and pear, and a balanced bitterness; giving a smooth lasting dry bitter finish. For some reason quite a satisfying pint overall, although there’s nothing particularly noteworthy about it.

Cask at Baxter’s Court, JDW - London. Pours lightly hazed good with a fine, creamy head. Nose carries some lightly tangy citrus, doughy pale malts, hints of dried leaves. Light to medium sweet flavor with cheap bred, some more tangy citrus notes, light bitter leaves. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish with more bready pale malts, some further citrus, hints of plastic leaves, lightly bitter. Ah, it has been awhile aince I have enjoyed the comforts of a shite JDW beer!
