Thanks to OhioDad for this one. Opens with a lackluster pft. A thin head is roused briefly then quickly falls to a soapy ring of white. Hazy amber body. Very little aroma, although some malt and hops are detected. Lightly bitter with some dryness in the finish. Lacks balance and complexity. Well below average.

Pours a clear dark amber color with a medium thick beige/orange head that has pretty good retention. Minimal lacing except toward the bottom of the glass. Aroma of citrusy hops and pine. Medium-bodied with a nice hoppy and nutty flavor, with a decent malt foundation. The finish is hoppy and lasting, with a bitter aftertaste. This beer is not trying to blow anyone’s mind but it is a good example of a well-made entry of the style.

Medium citric hop aroma with a touch of biscuits. Mild floral and citric hop flavors integrate seamlessly into a biscuity sweet malt palate, light bitter finish. A Britishy IPA for sure. Amber color, a touch of red, med head but excellent lacing.

Pour is almost a red with a nice white head. Aroma is hops with some citrus. Flavor is hoppy with some caramel. Not the best IPA and not near the worst.

Clear copper-red body, thin light tan head. Floral hops aroma with hints of pine and biscuity malt. Flavor is buoyed by a toasty malt backbone with plenty of spicy, floral, bitter (piney) hops. Underlying notes of sweet caramel are revealed after the hops subside. Medium-bodied. Aftertaste is muddy and, yes, a bit astringent, detracting from the drinkability.

Dark orange. Head is off white, small, and thin. Stringent hops aroma. Surprisingly bitter with a roasted flavor. It went well with my Padron maduro, but I won't buy this again.

Strong example of the style for hop-heads, though not much beyond. Pleasing copper color under a firm head has a malty smell that doesn't appear in the taste. Mouthfeel is nice, though hop bite kind of hits you with few subtleties. Hoppy enough to get me sneezing, though the matliness returns in the aftertaste. Sampled on draft.
