Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley. Bright copper in colour with a thin beige head; rich fruity malt aroma; the flavour with malty, dry and earthy, with some winter fruit and raw sugar; there’s a tangy, prolonged finish with some dry grassy hops and a touch of warming spice. Very pleasant.
