Bottle l picked up from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon consumed 20.08.11 at family party, near Pontadarwe, Wales Pours golden with a white head, fruity with a soft hoppy profile, touch safe and lacking in a few areas but like with many Fullers beers its absolutely fine, just lacking a bit of excitement. (Cask at Royal Oak, Borough, London, 18 July 2011) Pale amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, slightly malty nose with apricots, orange and crystal malt. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange, hints of crystal malt and a gentle, citrussy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, slightly sweetish. Quite nice.

50cl bottle from Waitrose. Golden amber with a thick white head; light tropical fruit aroma; biscuity malt flavour and a dry finish. Very drinkable and quite unlike other Fuller’s ales.

Cask at The Jugged Hare, Victoria, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Pleasant hoppy, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes quite sweet, malty, tropical fruit and a hint of bitterness. A really good session ale. I enjoyed it, quite different from Fullers other offerings. Also had it from bottle bought in Budgens which was not as good as cask version.
