Cask at the Ravensgate, Ramsgate, 03/06/22 (Ramsgate Bimble with Roger). Clear amber with a good sized beige head that stays for the show ... full glass lacing nsnues. Nose is dates, caramel, fruit cake mix, brown bread, nutty. Taste comprises fruit cake, toffee, prunes, stewed fruits, figs, tobacco, light brown sugar sprinkle. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close with some mellow background hop presence. Solid flavoursome mild.

Cask (handpump) @ CASK Pub & Kitchen, 6 Charlwood Street, London, Greater London England SW1V 2EE.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, berry, riped fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity and caramel sweet, candy alike, late finish has a sharp spicy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110617]

Cask@Cask Pub And Kitchen, London. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is quite hoppy, malty and also has some slight wooden and syrupy notes. Flavour is being quite much the same in a rather nice balance. Also some alcohol is showing in this one.

Cask at CP&K. It pours copper-amber, with a thin foamy white head and soft carbonation. The nose is sweaty sock, butterscotch and toffee. The taste is tangy orange, bread, hay, wood, toffee, caramel and resin, with a pleasant tangy-bitter finish. An enjoyable, but unusual mild.

Cask at CPK. Pours clear gold with a fine film. Ripe fruit nose, bit of sharp malts. Medium sweet flavor, slightly fruity, hints of wood and light toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweetish finish, bit of herbal bitterness, slight fruit, tingly malt. Good brew.

Cask gravity at The Bull, Horton Kirby. Slight haze on a reddish amber beer with no real head. I?m guessing this is a try at a recreation of a pre WWI strong mild. Not overly syrupy but very malty and only slight hop presence. Slightly dry on the grainyness on the swallow. I can?t pinpoint why I like this beer but I do. Not showy on the alcohol. Yes decent fruit, yes good mouthfeel, bit ersatz I suppose the sum is better than the constituent parts. Good beer.
