A robust, full-bodied Anglo-style brew with a deep amber hue, featuring a persistent hoppy flavor that, together with its high alcohol content, makes it a warm, almost balsamic drink. Its highly-structured body is balanced by intense bitter profile, creating a particularly distinctive and complex beer.

330ml bottle. Hazy, darkest amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white to beige head. Mellow malty and citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, orange, tangerine, caramel malty background with a rye-like touch of malt-spiciness. Taste is initially citrusy hoppy and caramel malty, notes of lemon, orange and tangerine, the citrusy hop flavours suddenly break away in the last third and give way to dry, vinous fruity notes of gooseberry and white grapes, the caramel malty basis transforms into pale regions, a minimally papery touch joins as well.
