Bomber bought @ Systembolaget. Pours very cloudy bright orange with a small frothy offwhite head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small sticky trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and fruity with sweet bread, alcohol, overripe tropical fruits, lemon zest, grapefruit rinds, biscuits, cookie dough, pine needles, resinous wood and orange zest. Taste is sweet, malty and tiny fruity with sweet bread, alcohol, cereal, pine needles, black tea, resinous wood, grapefruit rinds, orange peal, lemon zest, biscuits, dried apricots and overripe mango and pineapple. Mouthfeel is sticky, tiny round, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with sweet bread, biscuits, grapefruit rinds, overripe mango, alcohol and lemon zest. I must confess I kept on to this for too long and would love to try it fresh.

Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. Clear amber pour with a medium size off white head. Aroma of hops, caramel malts. Boozy, too sweet flavour that smothered the hops. Balance not quite there. A let down.

22 oz. bottle, sent from aplusbreaks (thanks Austin), pours a fairly clear golden / bronze with a small white head. Aroma of syrupy caramel malts, resinous hops, and some residual sugars. Flavour is sweeter than I like my IIPAs to be, with syrupy caramel malts, resinous hops and again with the residual sugars. Not in cloying territory, as the bitterness from the hops still shines through. Solid, but still too much malty sweetness for the style. Decent.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with a white head. Fruity, hops aroma. Sweet fruit, hops flavour.

22oz bomber split with Anndiesel. Murky grey orange tan. Foamy off white head. Fuelal sweet aroma. Sweet and a little overbearing, this one isn’t so refined. Intense sugary sweetness aside, this is pretty nice, Resiny pine sap covered grapefruit hop residue aftertaste, a touch soapy. Not really enjoyable to drink, but interesting on the palate, in it’s hop tinged brutality. Not bad, but not good either. 7-3-7-3-13 re-rate 8-2-14 classic NW IIPA. Truly Imperial. Massive malts. Massive resinous hops. A little thick with the specialty malts.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Hoppy aroma. Flavors of citrus (orange and grapefruit) with some hints of caramel malt. Bitter finish. Nice DIPA.

Gräddvitt skum. Färg djupt kopparröd. Kraftig söt arom. Sötman dominerar även smak. Bakom dem ligger tillbakahållen humlesmak. Obalanserad.

En kraftfull och trevlig IPA. Mycket fruktig med smak av tropisk frukt. Oljig i konsistensen med en sträv beska. Kanske en aning söt men i övrigt välkomponerad.
