Cask at the white lady jdw. Pours see through dark brown, off-white creamy head. Aromas of light chocolate and spice. Taste is light sweet, rich mouthfeel. Sweet nutella chocolatey finish.

Cask at JDW Square Peg; opaque dark brown pour with a thin bubbly light tan head, toasted malt aroma, taste definitely has caramel, some toast, dried dark fruit, ok.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - close to opaque black but with some red chinks. Nice head. Nose - dry malt and just a hint of burnt raisins. Taste - the raisins are more forward. Bready backbone. Palate - medium bodied with a dry yet creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent beer if slightly gnarly.

[Cask at the Nag’s Head, Reading] Deep ruby-black, small tan head. Autumn fruits and caramel in there, but flavours are a bit muted. Gets very sweet by the end. Very smooth and oily to the point of cloyingness, yet somehow overall feel was of a rather watery weak beer. OK.

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Black in colour. Tarry malt with some dryness on end, could do with a bit of fruit or something to liven it up
