Nessun Dorma è la nostra Vieille Saison e trae il suo nome dalla celebre romanza per tenore della Turandot di Puccini: l’attesa del Principe Ignoto, che brama il sorgere del giorno per conquistare il cuore della principessa di ghiaccio, ci sembra una metafora affascinante per il tempo necessario alla maturazione e affinamento di questo prodotto.

Tap. Lortica, Bologna. Hazed pale gold. Thin, glossy, lasting, white head. Nose has brett. New leather. Oak. Preserved lemon. Taste is dry, lightly bitter, and a little tart. Light to medium body. Bright carbonation. Dry, light bitter, and lightly tart on the finish.

0,15l from tap at BXLBeerfest. orange hazy color, almost no head. smells earthy, musty, bit lactic, citric, peppery, light wood, nice smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of citrus, wood, earthy, bit lactic, peppery, grassy, lightly herbal, earthy. finishes dry and medium sour with notes of wood, grass and citric notes. very nice one 7, 4, 8, 3, 16

Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A almost clear pale golden beer. Aroma of tart grapes and apples, wood, vanilla, yeast. Taste of dry tart grapes, vanilla, brett, nice.

Aroma of citrus, vanilla, moderate young cheese, wood, some stone fruits.
Tastes pretty similar.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, moderate sour, wooden, very fruity, citric, with stone fruits, vanilla.
Very nice. Lovely fruit and barrel notes, with just a moderate sourness. Drinks fresh and balanced. Nothing outstanding, but really smooth stuff.

Fra fat på Il Locale på Åboulevard, aug-18: klar lys gylden med fint skum. Nydelig, funky aroma og smak med grønne druer, gjær, stall, eik/vanilje og lime. Slank og elegant. En dyr men raffinert saison her i den nydelige kveldssolen på fortauet.
