Pours a bright, hazy dark golden. Average sized large bubbled head, recedes quite quickly, leaves very little lacing. A quite vivid though not especially rich aroma: citric sourness upfront with notes of lemon very evident, lighter peach hints, a bit of funkiness and earthiness, a background of grassy hops. Taste shows moderate but distinct sourness, mainly citric, possibly slightly lactic. Notes of lemon, maybe lighter peach and white grapes hints. Limited funkiness, a hint of earthiness and hop grassiness. Overall quite sweet for the style but the finish is clean and leaves a fruity reminiscence. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation. Light in carbonation for a standard saison, actually quite vivid for a sour. Drinks quite easy. Quite nice and enjoyable though fairly unimpressive to me.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2022. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Funky, barrel, oak, brett, some citric notes. Medium sourness.

On tap at The Stuyck Co, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is very complex, with lots of buggy wild yeast, plenty of oak, and rustic saison yeast. Flavour follows through, with rustic saison yeast, lots of buggy brett funk, a hint of tartness, and plenty of oak to round it out. Really expertly put together. Great buggy and oaky character. Excellent.

On tap at il punto Bologna. A very complex saison, medium acidity, complex oak and vanilla. Some fruit. Really excellent saison, the oak aging shines.

375ml bottle, online from Foeders, Amsterdam. Pours light hazy mid golden with a white head. Aroma: Light tart & sweet, spicy & funky saison yeast, white wine barrel. Taste: light to moderate tart & sweet, dry, woody tannins, spicy hints, subtle barnyard funk, lemon, white grapes & grape skins, sour green apple hints. Medium body with spritzy carbonation. Enjoyed this.

28-09-19 // bottel sahred at Mon Petit Cafe Suttgart on Zwanze Day 2019. Good sour beer with a little funk. Fizzy and quite light bodied.

Bottle. Color: Hazy yellow golden, white head. Aroma: Light tart, somewhat more sweet, spicy and funky Saison and wild yeast, hints of grapes. Taste: Nice balanced between moderate tart and sweet, pretty strong wood tannins, dry mouthfeel. Spicy hints, subtle barnyard funk, fruity notes of lemon, white grapes / grapeskin and sourish berries, hints of sour green apples. Medium to over medium body, just below average, sparkling carbonation. Nicely balanced, nice complexity. Another good one from Ca' del Brado.
