This beer pours a pretty hazy pinkish-ruby color with a medium thin pinkish white head that burns away steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of oak, cherries and yeast. Light to medium body with a tart cherry character and notes of herbal yeast and malt. The finish is moderately tart with a cherry and brett aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Paul. Pours hazy pink with a light, creamy white head. Nice tangy cherry aroma, a little sweaty, with accents of pits and skins. Big sour flavor, biting, lightly sweet, with lemon, drying wood and cherry skins. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Tart, acidic finish, with nice tangy cherry bite, woody dryness, more lemony cuts. Very nice.

Bottle split at Jack The Sipper leaves for the FBI again tasting, big thanks to Paulo, 14/07/15. Hazed orange amber with reddish hues topped with a moderately appointed off white covering. Nose is tarte cherry skins, brett strokes, funk, dry rot. Taste comprises on the turn cherries, tarte berry notes, brett, earthy gritty tones, damp straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, solid woody come brett scrapings in a drying close. Decent brett show.

Farewell Jack bottleshare at Craft Clerkenwell. Thanks to Paul. Hazy apricot colour beer, thin very pale apricot coloured head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Mild to medium sourness. Modest gueuzey wet wood. A little tart cherry. Tangy lemon finish turning slightly acid. Okay.

Bottle thanks to Bill, shared at Craft Clerko. It pours hazy rose-pink with a small white head. The nose is rather soft, funky, earthy, vanilla, toasted coconut, Bakewell tart and cherry skin. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy, pretty big acidity, sherbet, sour mouth-pucker, earth, wood, green apple, soapy lemon, grapefruit and candy cane. Medium body and light-medium body. Not quite as impressive as the plum or blackberry. Lacks a bit of body and has more acidity. Solid nonetheless.

Bottle shared at craft beer co JackL leaving drinks. Many thanks to Paulo for this one. Hazed light pink, orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is light smoke. Tart cherry, plastic, light sour. Flavour is composed of tart cherry, plastic, light smokiness, wheat malt. Marzipa. Palate was medium light bodied, moderate acidic, moderate carbonation.

The beer pours a pink-hued orangey tan color. Small fizzy head, very pale pink. The aroma has a wonderful cherry flavor, lightly sweet and sour. Moderate to medium levels of jamminess. Moderate oak, mostly adding a light vanilla. It smells a bit like a cookie topped with sour cherry jam. There’s a mild medicinal note, but it blends in well. The taste is moederately sour. Finishes fairly dry. Some malt heft. Funk seems a bit more noticeable. Mild woody bitterness. The aftertaste is mostly sour cherries. Moderate pucker. Mouthfeel is otherwise medium-light. Another excellent beer from CS.

Bottle @ Vail with jcnielsen. Pours a very hazy, pinkish red appearance with a thin off white head. Twangy, tart pie cherries in the nose with some acid and vanilla. Medium light body. Moderately tart. Kind of one-dimensional flavor with the cherries but it is nice. Maybe some lemon and yogurt. Pretty refreshing with some nutmeg / cinnamon/ spices.

375 ml bottle. Aroma is moderately phenolic with a bit of a plastic and medicinal character. Moderate cherry notes with some faint tropical fruit and citrus. Light oak notes. Hints of an odd spiciness. Pours a cloudy, reddish orange with a small, thin white head that quickly disappears. Flavor is similar with a lighter cherry character but also a similar phenoilic note, though less plastic and medicinal and more spice. Light oak notes and a lot of dried stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer, but the phenolic notes were a bit odd.

ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, barnyard, cherry, wood, oak, cherry stone. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, oak, cherry stone, tart, cherry, wheat, oak - wood - cherry stone. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
