Bottle picked up from Markgrafen Getränkemarkt, Deggendorf and consumed at home Friday 15th March 2024, about to cook a Seafood Paella and listening to Bib Vylan and now Jamie XX. Pours clear gold with a large large white head, sweet maltiness from the off, very soft carbonation. Light spiciness and a little grainy edge, it's fine but there is something here that I am not warming to.

Bottle, thanks Max! Yellow amber, tiny bit of haze, moderate head. Neutral nose, light grain. Sweet, mild earthy bitterness, a bit on the malty side of Festbier. Nice caramel notes.

Die Maidult und Herbstdult sind die beiden großen Volksfeste in Passau. Das Festbier der Hacklberger-Brauerei gibt es dann auch in den Geschäften zu kaufen. Helle klare Farbe. Schöner Geruch. Honig und Hopfen trifft auf Getreide und Frucht. Geschmacklich ebenfalls Getreide und Spuren gekochter Früchte vorherrschend. Für ein Festbier (das normalerweise dem klassischen „Märzen“ entspricht) sehr dezent gehopft. Schön weich.

Klare hell goldgelbe Farbe, mittelgroße stabile weiße schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig kräftig malzig, süß. Geschmack süß malzig, leicht getreidig, gering hopfig, nett.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Doughy and slightly strawy malty aroma with a tinge of grassy hops. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Doughy malt character with strawy notes, as well as shades of grassy hops; medium-sweet, restrained bitter hoppy finish. Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter. Standaard bier, gewoon goed.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy, light cornish and light yeasty. Bitter, cornish and grassy hoppy. Citric and malty to slight grassy finish.
