Notes found recently from a 2010 Wetherspoon Beer Festival. Has a very weak body and flavour but does grow in its palatability.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 4/11/10. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish, caramel and red fruit aroma. Flavour of digestive biscuits, with more caramel and a short, bitter finish. Ok.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Amber, moderate white head. Watery, incredibly bland. Just a bit of sweet caramel & nothing else. Inoffensive, barely noticed it going down. What is the point of this beer?

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Yep it’s a brown/copper coloured bitter. It’s a bitter that isn’t quite bitter. Some decent fruit. It’s fine, nothing wrong with it. But nothing interesting. Caramel and maybe touch of diacetyl
