Draught at Craft. Light yellow with medium white head. Very translucent. Aroma is that typical Orval brett. smell but a bit more herbal. Difficult not to compare it to Orval. Quite thin in the mouth and quite fizzy. Starts more exciting than it continues. Taste is quite herbal. Has the bitterness and sourness of an aged Orval but without the body. Probably should have had an Orva instead, but is an interesting comparison.

Tap at the Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell 29/10/12. Hazed pale golden with a thin white head that soon clears the edge. Nose carries a good waft of bretts, funk, horse blanket, spice. Taste follows, light yeast esters, spice, herbal tones. Medium bodied with a little too much spritzyness in the carbonation for my liking. Dry in the finish.

On tap at Local Option. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light floral note with some light citrus and a bit of backing sweet grain. Flavor has more of a grassy note with notes of light citrus, floral and sweet grain.

A lightly hazed blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, pungent Brett and lactic acids, barnyard, lambic-like, super fragrant. In mouth, a corky harsh phenolic ale with loads of bitter herbs, interesting. On tap at Prohibition Pig, March 12, 2012.

On tap at MikkellerBar. Cloudy yellow colour, big white head. Aroma of Brettanomyces, a lot of it actually, hints of poo, stables, hay, some lemon. Flavour is dry, yeasty, hay, straw, pale malts, light tartness, Brett, citrus, bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied, a bit overcarbonated. A bit overdone on the Brett, but nice.

Cask, handpump at The Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 03.12.11 in company of Tom. Pours gold, with a very light haze, really lively pour, like a huge ice cream, looks great. Aroma as others suggest is a little barnyardy but also cheesy feet and lavender, wonderful concoction that sounds awful but is in fact quite likeable. Nice softness across the tongue, wonderfully crisp and then dry, clean fresh but subtle lemonyness. Excellent beer I had to have another. A7 A5 T9 P4 Ov16 4.1
