(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 24 July 2015) Golden colour with lasting, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, gooseberries, elderberries, cranberries and perfume. Malty, fruity taste with white bread, cranberries, gooseberries, elderberries and a slightly perfumy finish with a light bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit different, but quite well balanced with a good fruit character. Quite enjoyable.

Tap. Sheffield Tap. Cloudy gold. Big, bubbly, frothy white head. It’s fruity, but I’d never have said cranberry. Strawberry, maybe. Some peach. Bit of a melted plastic thing going on. Smells a bit like strawberry milkshake spew, to be honest. Taste is dry. Some sweet. Acrid bitter. Palate is plastic. This is so artificial tasting. Nah. Can’t be bothered. This is awful.

Keg at the Euston Tap, 23/08/13. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a moderate white covering. Nose is cranberry ahoy, sugars, grass, toasted malts, summer fruits. Taste comprises berry fruits, cranberry, grass, toasty malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Nice refreshing stuff, does what it says on the tin well!

19th August 2013Euston Tap. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Palate is lightly crisp with mild minerals. Soft creamy malt with a brief flash of orange cittic hop. Then a fair dollop of cranberry sweetness kicks in. Actually it all comes together pretty well. Can’t dislike these Czech fruity lagers!

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of fruits and herbs. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and fruits, leading to a dry finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Plastic bottle 100 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a neat white head. Odd perfumy fruit aroma, appears rather artificial, dry. Light body, heavy carbonation, again these artificial fruit notes - cranberries? Really? Ends dry and hoppy. 010411
