AIBF2016. Very hazy pale purple pour with a frothy offwhite head. Filmjölk and black currant nose. Light balsamic. Sour fruity taste. Light throat-burning acetic and tart mouthfeel. Not my favourite acid character and not a fan of the filmjölk lacto notes.

Appearance: Red colour witih an off-white head.
Aroma: Sour, berries, tart, fruit.
Body: Light body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Sour, fruit, berries.

75cl bottle between four of us at the 25th Oct 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Share: some ten years in front of it’s best before date. Poured a hazy light purple, no head. A strong hedgerow fruit aroma hits your nose. The taste was sour and featured tart blackcurrants, blackberries and raspberries in flavour. Am I warming to sour fruity beers? I almost enjoyed this one anyway.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 16. Pours a hazy pinkish purple, with a tart bramble fruit aroma. Taste is bright and sharp with prominent blackcurrant and blackberries. Just the right about of sour to compliment the tart fruit qualities. Another good ’un from Tommie!

[9/22/16] Bottle sample at Pre-Borefts RateBeer Tasting at ABC Beers in Den Haag. Thanks everyone for sharing bottles! Lovely red with a bit of pink foam. Great juicy berries aroma, with barnyard, a bit of manure, oak, rubber note. Sour flavor with barnyard, lots of berries, lacto, lemon. Medium-bodied. A bit acidic in the throat. Great.

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Pink pour with a light pink head. Notes of cassis, dark fruit, tart cherries, blackberries. Medium body and carbonation and a tart finish.

Bottle at Kimchi 2016. Vibrant purple red with a ring pink head. Aroma of tart blackcurrent, fresh blackberries and red berries. Flavour is light sweet and moderate sour. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. [13/08/2016] Note: I revisited this beer in late September and the fruit character was not as good, with additional sourness in the flavour. This one was really best enjoyed fresh. Original score remains.

Thank you Kermis. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Deep red fruit purple pink with pink head. Nose is weird lightly soapy rotting berries, spoiled milk zest, very strange berry skins. Taste is weird sour soap, huge tannins, massive strange berry skins, green nettles, weeds, acidic, high carbonation, red grape skin,… Very bizarre beer, a bit too much for me with all the green weeds & massive red fruits skins, dry & strong carbonation. Too bizarre.
