Bottle, #511, 18 months before bbd, shared with Inbreak and friends. Pours dark, mahogany brown, with creamy, mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread, coffee and leather, as wooden minerals. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, burned caramels and coffee, as well as some burned wood and minerals. Fairly dry finish.

Taste is sweet sour-ish roasted, weeds, bark, soil, sour-ish roasted grain, alcohol, wash cloth, medicine, fruit stones, sour grass. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Very dark brown colour, moderate but lasting beige head. Dull malty aroma, hints of brown bread, caramel and dust. Nice malty flavour, notes of toasted brown bread and caramel, but the beer is not too sweet. A faint hint of smoke. Decent hops in the finish.
