Cask at Wellington, Brum. Clear gold. Frothy foamy off-white head. Aroma has fruit and caramel. Light sherbert. But low key. Flavourwise it has tangy sherbert citrus with doughy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable.

Handpull cask at the Court House, Dudley. Mid-gold and clear with a little off-white head and loads of lacing. As I brought it to the table I got the fresh aroma of satsumas and tropical fruit. Is this my beer I smell? Delicious. Taste doesn't disappoint with a bittersweet, fruity flavour, raipe Oranges and pineapple, some pink grapefruit. More intense tongue-coating bitter toward the finish but it never jars. Medium body, soft carbonation. A wonderful beer.

Bottle at home in Hackney - scooped up from HOTM. Pours copper-gold with a frothy, off-white cap. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of sun-baked bready pale malts, some oily pine, subtle citrus, crackers, dirty hay. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes bitter with grass and pine, more sun-kissed malts, some citrus peel. No nonsense here.

Cask @ The Hebden (formerly The Pub), Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy-frothy head. Sugar-hoppy taste, with its strength playing a part in this. Has a similar nose.
