Bottled (from backlog). Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild floral and grassy bitterness along with mild toasted notes as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, a bit citrusy and nectary along with some sweet and bready maltyness. Balanced, but nothing very special.

Bottle at home. Hazy gold beer, good white head. Dry crisp palate. Creamy even malt. Bitterish grapefruit and a little smoke! Just a trace of honey sweetness before more smoke and bitterness in the very dry finish. Oddly enough it all works!!

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy, glowing gold with a foamy, white head. Light, crispy malts on the nose with some tangy hops, perhaps citrus. Flavor has some good sweetness, faint bread and sugars, straw bitters. Light to medium in body with fine and effervescent carbonation. Has a crisp, clean bite to finish, maybe some hints of honey but mostly just straight sugar, with more straw bitters and some citrus that hits the throat. Alright.

Flaske 0,5l fra Waitrose Bloomsbury. Mørk gylden. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum. Sedimentene vises tydelig i glasset: På grensen til kunst! Tung, fruktig aroma. Litt tynn og svakt fruktig smak.

500ml bottle bought at William IV consumed at home. Hazy gold, lasting white head. Some yeast, some honey, some spice on aroma. More honey in mouth, with a touch of rubber you get some British bottle conditioned beers. Ok finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned at the Old Fountain, Old Street 11/02/10. Hazy amber with a slight white head. Slightly sweet, fruity aroma with a suggestion of honey. Flavour was much the same with plenty of bitterness and the honey becoming evident in the aftertaste. Forgettable.
