Pours orange. Head is white, creamy, and the brew retains a visible lacing. Aroma is a mix of caramel and blood orange. Tart, with a citric bitterness. Finishes the same. Body is medium, and the beer leaves a rich, smooth feel in the mouth. Good.

12 fl.oz. bought at a Total Wine in Vegas an drunk in a hotel room after the X Burlesque show. Unclear orange in the glass, big white foamy head. Hopy floral on the nose. Taste starte hopy, but also malt and dry grain with a pleasant bitterness. Less fruity than expected to the smell. Long lasting mid bitterness with lemon grass in the background,. Enjoyable stuff.

12 oz. bottle into a dirty shaker. Bottled 8/28/2015. A: Pours murky orange with a huge jagged white head that has dogged retention and thick lacing. S: Can’t smell much due to a headcold but I do get a sweet citrus tangerine scent. Will give an average rating to be fair. T: Sweet caramel lasts but a fleeting second before a blast of bitter zest arrives and takes over. A tart fruity note joins in for the finish, providing good complexity. M: Medium heavy in body with a fine carbonation wash and a medium short finish. Surprisingly dry and clean with only a slight oiliness. O: A bit unusual in my experience, this is pretty good though expensive at $12/6. I wont be buying this regularly (except maybe with TW coupons) but this is well worth a try if not an occasional purchase. Recommended.

Clear orange until the bottom of the bottle where it gets a bit hazy. It’s bottle conditioned.
Smells of floral hops, cracker malt, kinda fruity.
Good balanced APA.
Floral hop smell translated to a mild slightly grassy bitterness. And that gets tempered by a firm malt presence of biscuit and cracker. The finish is the zenith of the bitter notes but again, it comes across as relatively mild because of that tasty balance.
This has been an old favourite of mine once the brewer rebranded this from IPA to APA.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a soft hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There’s some light stringy lacing coming from the dieing head.
The smell had a big juicy citrus aroma with an invasive strong pine note to assist in a wonderful smell.
The taste started off sweet and eventually showed a mild bittersweet flavoring to start to show.
On the palate, this one shows a nice sesionability in a light to medium sort of body. The carbonation was delicately harsh with a fine lingering gentleness to it. A light spicy smooth undercurrent of juicy citrus with pine rolls over my tongue.
Overall, what a wonderful APA that I definitely would have again.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark, hazy orange with a half finger of white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and sweet malt. Taste is similar. Pretty good.

Nicely crafted ale from Grand Teton. Picked this up in their sampler pack at Winco Foods. Amber, with short, creamy head, sticky lacing. Piney aroma with sharp bitterness on the tongue. SHort, dry finish. Very tasty.

On draft at pizzeria caldera in Jackson WY. Pours a cloudy copper with a thick off white head. Fruity hop nose. Some grassy notes. Very bitter finish.

Draft pour. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was weak hops, some light malt sweetness, some watery fruit character. Flavor was light caramel malts, not a whole lot of hop character. Not very good, keg may have been off. Bummer.

On tap at the Federal Bar, pours an opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma of mild floral hops, a bit of fruitiness, and some caramel biscuity malt. Flavour of floral hops, some herbal hops, and biscuity malts. Full flavoured, especially for a pale ale. Great stuff.
