Bottle. Beer of the month club. Slightly hazy amber color with a big frothy off white head. Pleasant floral and citric hops aroma with piney hint and a bit of caramelly malt. Flavor has light sweetish maltiness and quite a bit of hoppy bitterness, pretty grapefruity. Medium-bodied. A decent APA.

Tap. Pours hazy orange amber with a medium off-white head that dissipates with great lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine, with notes of caramel. Flavor is about the same, lightly sweet, lightly bitter, refreshing and crisp.

Big thanks to ny pal Shawn who in thanking me for being wedding party signed me up for micro brew of the month club. My first brew from the box is this fine pale ale from Idaho. Pours cloudy orange with quickly dissipating white head. Nose of citrus and dough. Tastes of grapefruits, grassy, spruce, bread, caramel, and light ginger. Light bodied but nice finish.

This Pale Ale poured a medium amber colour with a awesome, off white, frothy/creamy head. To the nose there are scents of spruce/citrus/grassy hops, light malt and dough. First sip was full of hop flavours such as spruce and citrus/pineapple. Finish is bitter and chock full of hop.

Bottle. Light amber body. Small, frothy, white head. Aroma of toasted grain and floral hops. Not much else. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Husky grain character in the flavor. Unrefined. Not a lot going on in this beer.

Smells citrusy, promising but taste and palate don’t really follow through. Pours cloudy amber with a big fizzy head. Taste has a touch of sourness, a little astringency. Nothing remarkable, nothing bad. Big thanks to Adrian for this one.

Bottle @ home. I think I’ve had this one a few times but I haven’t ticket it yet, so now’s my chance. Hazy, reddish orange appearance with a big, fluffy, tan head. Rich piney, somewhat grapefruity, woody, herbal hoppy, inviting aroma. A bit chewy, toasty malty, rich piney, grapefruity, herbal hoppy flavor. Pretty tasty.
