(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 4 Aug 2010) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with apricots and orange. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, apricots and orange. Rather thin body, with balanced sweetness and a short, citrussy finish. Not very exciting, but decent and fairly refreshing.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Pale gold, slight haze, disappearing white head. It’s a golden ale. What do you want me to say? Some decent citrus hops. It’s ok. One of the better fo the moderate golden ales.

On gravity at the Reading Beer Festival, 01/05/09. Golden in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of hay, grassy hops and a touch of citrus. Flavour had some sweet malts, grapefruit, and a decent dry finish. Pleasing to see the old Keynsham plant being put to good use.
