Starts with a powerful, zesty grapefruit hop flavour but followed by floral rose petals then a smooth malty taste that balances the sharp citrus flavours.

Handpull cask at the Criterion, Leicester. Mid- to dark gold, clear with a decent tight white head. Slight orchard fruit aroma combined with some grain and wiid shavings. Lovely full taste with sweet apricot at the fore. Full body for a beer of this strength and you can really savour the natural carbonation. Not one of Thornbridgeโs absolute best but solid all the same.

Cask @ The Hallamshire House, Sheffield [210314] [From memory as notes lost]
Has soft citrus tropical notes and similar flavours. Fairly hoppy, with soft sweet fruity malts, but not as hoppy as Kipling. Was quite decent as I recall...remember scoring it 3.4

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 308/08/13. Another Thornbridge catch up rate ... surely Iโll run out of these soon ! Almost clear pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is citrus fruit, thinhops, melon, light piss. Taste comprises toasted malts, orange, grass, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish with a little hop bitterness. Drinkable APA perhaps more GB than others of this ilk.

Cask at the Sheffield Tap. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is zesty orange, tangerine, Irn Bru, wood and some urine. The taste is pine, oat, grainy, grass, light sweetness, orange and tangerine with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth and pretty drinkable.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Hazy golden with a small off/white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and rather hoppy - peach and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 251212
