Cask@The Star, Bishops Stortford. Only pub I went in to during my visit to Bishop Stortford beer festival, this thanks to an elder CAMRA member I walked to the festival with and he had heard of this place. Aroma is quite much wheat beer like (banana, mild spices as well as some citrusy notes), with also some slight earthyness. Flavour is quite fruity, wheaty and mildly earthy.

Cask (Market Porter, London) - Hazy golden in colour. Banana and hops feature in the aroma. Banana, lemon and hney feature in the taste. The finish is bitter and fruity. It’s like a cross between a saison and a wheat beer.

Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen on 26th March 2010. Hazy gold with a thin lasting white head of foam. Strong grapefruit hop and "Brugse Zot/Orval" style yeast/hop aromas in a slightly "sticky" texture. Dry hoppy finish. The best Beglian-style cask conditioned ale I have drunk. Exquisite and very well crafted.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Hazy golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, yeasty nose with notes of lemon, coriander and spicy, earthy hops. Fruity, yeasty taste with citrus, coriander and an earthy, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Some sweetness, combined with a certain tartness. Generous, spicy bitterness. Possibly not as complex and brilliant as Dupont, but on the other hand Dark Star just started trying this and this is a good shot at the style.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy pale golden. Grainy nose with ripe banana. sweet and fruity. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Spruce needles and orange mixes with toffee and herbal spices. Some shampoo-like bitterness. An unusually Belgian feel to it for being British - a nice marriage of two beer cultures.
