Cloudy brown beer. Little tan head. Crisp semi dry palate, turning softer. Sweet red fruits - somewhat fruits of the forest like. Over the top is creamy malt with a light smoky streak. Finishes minerally and dry.

Bottle. Unclear, reddish dark brown beer with a beige head of moderate size. Cardamom, clove hints and dried fruits on the nose. Some caramel too. The flavor is a bit dull, sweet, yet quite dry, with caramel, spices and dried fruits. Medium to full body, caramel, roasted malts and spice notes in the finish. Not a Christmas beer in my style. 110614

Bottle 50cl @ Hoppy Loft, Brussels.

Bottle, 7.5%. Sweet roasted aroma, hint of cough syrup. Cloudy, muddy red brown colour. Fruity flavour, quite spicy. Some cinnamon, hint of mild bread, very weak aniseed. A mixture of many different spices, I think. Late cherry sourness to balance. I wonder if there is fruit in there at all.
