440ml can at Beer, Shilin Market, Taipei. Poured a clear medium brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is massive coffee. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, liqourice bitter, dry coffee, light alcohol palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can, huge thanks Ryan for sharing with us at Brewstock 2023. Very dark brown-black body, off-white head. Simply beautiful coffee and chocolate aroma, highly enjoyable. Soft taste, chocolate, coffee, lovely, smooth, ending with light roasty bitterness. Very well balanced. All in all, tasty AF!

On tap @Amplified near Gaslight. Black pour, oatmeal head. Smell is all acidic coffee char & fruity esters. Taste is just bitter coffee, ash, milk sugars, cigarette tar. A little obvious. Okay.

This beer pours brownish-black with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky patches of lace on the glass. Aroma of roast coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, smoked malt and cocoa. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Can 473ml @ Rasmus's hytte, Tvedestrand
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, coffee and roasted finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Lots of coffee, modestly sweet, nice roasted malt character but felt it was a bit unrefined and flavors didn’t meld as well as expected. I had this years ago and I was really impressed. Now it’s just ok.

Can pour into whisky glass from Valley Beverage. Appearance is opaque black with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, ephemeral thin cap of light brown head with no lacing. Aroma is rich roasted coffee, cinnamon. Taste is strong roasted coffee and cinnamon, late roasted malt. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, the adjunct flavors are so strong that the base beer is all but lost. Fortunately, those flavors are delicious but you wouldn't necessarily know you were drinking beer. Slightly overcarbonated.
