Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Deep gold in colour with plenty of fizziness. Woody, barnyard aroma with some apple sweetness. Flavour was a mix of sweet fruit and dry, yeastiness with a tart finish. An acquired taste, but ok.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Orange gold with no head. Cider no. 3 on cider night. Woody appley aroma. At least it’s a bit interesting. Kind of stewed apple with some unsubtle wood. Some character. It reminds me a bit of stewed rhubarb. Still, not wonderful.

Bottled. A yellow beer with a fast disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet yet acidic with notes of wood and a light touch of apples. THe flavor is sweet and acidic with light notes of apples, and a dry finish. Somewhat odd.

50 cL bottle, clear. Pours clear yellow with a diminishing white head. Light acidic/esteric apple aroma, mild sweet. Dry apple flavoured, slight esteric. Dry and slight chemical finish. Too dry and esteric for my liking.

Bottle. Clear, almost golden, with white bubbles on top. Yeast nose, with apples and sourness. Long yeasty flavor with green apples as well. Medium body and a yeasty finish, leaving the apples in the background. Maybe a bit too yeasty this one, but I liked it. Would love more apples and astringency though. (070430)

Golden body. Yeasty, wooden and fruity aroma. A bit raw apple flavor, rather much acid. Very refreshing, could probably get used to this.

500 ml bottle, now available in Norway. Clear golden colour. Pours fizzy & sparkling, but carbonation in the glass is moderate. No lasting head. Oaky aroma with hints of leather, dominant late harvest fermenting apples, notes of apple cider vinegar. Flavour is oaky, medium dry. Quite pleasant and refreshing. A decent cider!
