Bottle. Strong fruit aroma - like a peach or strawberry malt milkshake. Medium amber color with small head. Moderately sweet fresh strawberry malt flavor. Not bad tasting but rather strange and different from most beers - almost more like a fruit beer.

Bottle purchased at Hop and Leaf Feb 2005. Pours a bright orange-auburn color, with a thin veil of white bubbles for head. Aroma of light caramel and lightly sour fruits (peaches, oranges, mangoes). Flavor is strangely sweet and sour at the same time, with a definite yeast apparency, some graininess of texture and a bit of hops at the end. The beer gives glimpses of decent brewing, but overall, it stays pretty watery.

Bottled, thanks SpringsLicker! Hazy amber. Roasty and medium sweet. Firm and balanced. Aromatic hops dominate. Medium bitterness. A pleasant straigh forward beer.

This starts out with a nice, clean, bready aroma. The sweet malt taste is balanced with a touch of acidity. Good sweet finish.

Slightly hazy crimson/amber colour with a nice sized dense off-white head. Aroma of concord grapes, fresh hops and a healthy dose of malt - the nicest Amber i've ever smelt. Light-bodied; Definate concord grapeyness in the taste, followed by some malt and no hops. Aftertaste fairly mellow, a bit of sweetness only. Overall, a nice beer-a bit less than great...but really worth a try! I was lucky enough to get this beer in an in-person trade with Suttree in Knoxville, Tennessee and sampled it on 1-October-2003, Thanks Phil!
