(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 18 Aug 2010) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with red berries and caramel. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of grainy malt, red fruit, caramel, candy and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Hardly exciting, but well balanced and fairly tasty.

12 oz. bottle from Suttree. Pour is orange - almost 100% clear with a 1/2 inch white head. Head fades quickly to just a thin lining. Aroma is fruit, some sweetish chemical smell too. Taste is pretty bland, some malt, basic palate and really not too much flavor. The checmical background was present in the taste as well. Old bottle maybe? If this was fresh on draft it would be serviceable, I suppose. Thanks Phil!

Bottle from Suttree. Slightly hazy copper body, thin off-white to buff head. Cerealy aroma, somewhat tart, with caramel notes. Light, watery body with the same tart cereals and grassy hops. After a few sips some sweet caramels and prune notes develop. Too acidic and biting, nonetheless.
