Bottle shared at Craft, many thanks to Craig. Pours hazy gold with a sturdy, white foam head. Big, sugary grapefruit nose. Sweet flavor though lightly drying with pale malts, further grapefruit and other, rindy citrus. Full bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sticky, resinous on the finish, more grapefruit. Good DIPA.

Tap at OBF. Pours light amber with a slight eige head. Aroma seems citrus. Med + body. Flavor is backbone roast malt with citrus/resin hop. Lots of hop. It’s strongly flavored. Quite bitter.

Bottle at Craigs big Edinburgh tasting, this bottle courtesy of ’Craig’, thanks mate. Shared in company of Craig, Stella, Jan, Charlotte, Fritz and Loz 30.10.10 Pours amber with creamy bubbly white head and a very slight haze. Wonderful fresh clean aroma, I get freshly popped garden peas. Touch soapy in the mouth, but good hoppiness generally showing. There is some sweetness, soft carbonation, bit tropical also at times, very nice beer. A8 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Courtesy of douglas88. Cool German style half liter bottle pours murky copper with off tan head. OK, what did you send me Doug? Is this Exponential Hoppiness from Alpine or something. Good lord it smells amazing! I get full assertive levels of spicy hops, fur tree, earthy hops, pine, some rich citrusy grapefruit and slick malt sweetness pulling everything together. Wow! Was not expecting this. The taste has a robust load of hop flavor from spicy hops to grapefruit hops to a truck load of pine hops and rolling into some bitter pine resin. The river of sweet malts undulating underneath provides a great base to the flavor experience. This has loads of varied hop flavor goodness with sharp pulses of hoppy bitterness coming through here and there. World class brew here.
