500 ml bottle, seems that this is now sold instead of the Festmärzen with the golden label. Clear golden with a foamy head. Full ripe stonefruit, lemon zest, bread, slightly metallic, pretzels. Dry zesty bitterness, fruity grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty fruity grainy metallib bittersweet finish. Good!

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', as 'Oktoberfest Bier', 6.0% abv, best before April 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, a bit malty, moderately floral aroma of grains, some lemon peel and hints of honey. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a little floral taste of grains, straw, some honey and traces of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, clean but rather boring, I prefer the Märzen by far.

clear dark golden to bright amber colour, moderate sized dense white head; aroma of hay, bread, roasted nutty and some rye bready-grainy notes; taste has similar notes to the aroma with some herbal hoppy, as well as minimal metallic notes; good one

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe (29/9/23) – as Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfset. Pours amber brown with a medium sized white head and good lacing. The aroma has grains, continental hops and nuts. In the mouth it has a creamy texture. Initially sweet, a little underlying bitterness can be detected after a while. Flavour of continental hops and malts with hints of butter and chestnuts. Finish is slightly dry. This is a decent beer.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours gold with a large white head. Pokey caramelised malt, not quite as deep and toffee-rich as some.. nicely sweet with good balance overall.

Liter at the Hacker-Pschorr tent in Munich pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has honey and grain and grist, some yeast, a little floral. Flavor is simple, grist, grain, honey, flowers. Some light dough. Sweet dough. Finishes off dry, not quite medium bodied.
