Bottle conditioned and this one is quite gassy. Fruity sweetness in aroma and taste. Mild hops, not really a bitter one. Overall too thin and gassy.

A sweet, hoppy aroma and a mild, flowery hop taste. It’s quite refreshing but not particularly notable. A nice enough beer but I wouldn’t rush out to buy more bottles of it.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours slightly hazy gold with a 3 finger fizzy/creamy head. Aroma is sort of floral/citrus. Med body almost. Flavor is fruity, and it’s towards berry, which may be that "hints of blackcurrant". It’s very mild in its way, but it’s clean and on the bitter side - the "biscuity" really is backdrop. Certainly won’t replace White Shield in my heart. :)

Bright clear amber beer, good white head. Dry and crispy palate. Dry pale malt. Sharp minerals. A little citrus. Dry crisp finish. All pale malt and a bit dry. Very disappointing.

500ml bottle. Clear golden amber colour, foam white head and slight hoppy aroma. Taste is a sweetish biscuity malt caramel, and some spicy hop bitterness with citrus & blackcurrant notes. Light bodied and fairly fizzy, dryish finish. OK.

500 ml bottle. Pours a light gold color with a nice head, but little retention. Aroma is of biscuit malt and floral hops. Sweet malt and diacetyl in flavor. Some faint hop bitterness is present. The wheat adds some body, but only confuses me in this style. Light to medium bodied. Not quite as expected.

16.9oz bottle. Transparent orange-tan, quick risiing, active carbonation bubbles. Oh. Brewed by Coors. Damn. Straightforward, medium bodied. The wheat adds some dimension, but with the already big fruity ale notes, its kind of a mess. There is some dry, spicy hop bitterness up front, but again, ends up clashing and being a mess with the NW hops. . Lemony edged sub par English Pale Ale. I certainly wouldn’t buy this beer again. Loses more points for claiming to be "closer to cask". This beer is overcarbonated, and is quite far from having any semblance of cask feel.

Bottle conditioned 500ml: BBD of 19 Apr 2014. Poured slowly into a UK pint sleeve on 8 Jan 2013 @ home. No sediment left the bottle so I had a clear, bright, light amber bodied beer sat in front of me with a full and deep foaming head of large white bubbles. Both the nose and taste are semi-sweet with a citrusy twist. Pleasant enough and easy to drink with the malt content just about winning in the taste stakes: lemon biscuity feel to the flavours. Fairly well carbonated and fresh tasting: I enjoyed it. Forget who brews it!

500 ml bottle. Pours a lght honey gold color with a big rocky white head. Light fragrant biscuit malt nose , hints of floral hops as well. Lightly sweet malt flavor, some citrus peel and dry hops. Very little body or depth. Not much like a traditional English bitter.

Cask, handpump at The Saracens Head, Hereford following the cancellation of Herefird Beer on the Wye, Beer Festival’, Hereford Rowing Club, Herefordshire Saturday 7th July 2012 Dark gold, very slight haze, slim white head. Light fruity pale bitter, a few hoppy notes show, slight bitterness, a tiny bit of sharpness on the nose suggests that this isn’t the mist popular beer in here. Its ok but in truth a little bit boring. A5 A3 T6 P3 Ov11 2.8
