330 ml bottle at Restaurant Felsenegg, Zurich, Switzerland. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a large white head and great retention. Standard Euro lager aroma with light sulfur notes. Standard Euro lager flavor, matching the aroma, but with less sulfur flavor. Smooth and clean. Extra points for the beautiful location. Medium body. Lightly bready. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness. More of a Helles than a Pilsner, IMHO.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Paul. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and dry. Fine carbonation. Dry papery malt with a whisper of dried fruits. Papery dry finish. Not good!

Bottle shared at Bruce’s. It pours clear golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweet, icing sugar, dough, aged notes, grassiness, pear and over-ripe apple. The taste is light toast, paper, sweetish, straw, light apple, grass and pear with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Not much to it really, but fairly inoffensive stuff.

Bottle at Bruce’s pad, thanks to Paul for this one, 31/07/13. Very very lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that dissipates to the edge. Nose is pale malts, sugars, cereals, caramel. Taste comprises light fruits, grass, cereals, caramel, lightly toasted pale malts, light bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, clean, crisp and refreshing finish. Decent enough helles.
