Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen on 28th July 2010. Crystal clear copper with thin offwhite head of foam offering full lacing. Sweet, malty aroma; caramel and berry fruits in the kick alongside some bitterness, but the meeting of the two is not harmonious. Medium to short bittersweet finish, although this lengthens and becomes drier late on. Textured, light mouthfeel.

Cask gravity at Cambridge BF 08. Copper with thin beige head. Good condition. Aroma of toffee. A little biscuity in mouth, more toffee in swallow and then a dryish herbyish hop finish. Decent best bitter, very drinkable, could see me doing a session on it. Nothing flash, not overly mlaty. Does everything well.

Cask at the Wenlock. Light floral aroma. Amber color with a lacing white head. Floral and fruity over caramel malts. Finishes nicely bitter in a floral way. Good, if not the best.

Cask at The Hobgoblin, Reading A really sweet and fruity flavour, reminded me of apricot jam. This sweetness was balanced by a nicely bitter aftertaste. Overall an excellent bitter.

Cask@Burton Winter Beer Festival 2006. Amber/reddish beer with a light and dry aroma and a watery, slightly toffee/caramel flavour that has a large dry finish. Overall a plain dry beer.
