7% abv. Malted barley. A cousin to our India Double Porter, but fermented with lager yeast at low temperatures to smooth some of the rough edges. Another lager beer born out of the Coronavirus lockdown of 2020.

330ml bottle, 7.1 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Pours a fawn-coloured head over a coal black body, spotty lacing. Inviting smell of earthy, dry malts lightly roasted. Well blended taste profile of liquorice, dark bread, and chocolate, a bit ashy. Rounded dark chocolate malts to the finish. Fine depth. Pleasant version of the style, not too sweet. (Hotel room, Oslo 19.01.2022).

Bottled 22.01.21. Brownish black, some light brown head. Smell is very roasty, hint of ash. Pretty light body, tad watery for the abv, but soft. Taste is roasty, bitter, and a bit burnt. Slightest hints of licorice, would have liked more. Not bad.
