0,5 l longneck bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Now listed with 6.8% abv. BB 22.06.2025. Clear pale copper with an one finger light tanned head. Some malt, some nuts on the nose. Taste starts with some malt, nuts, alcoholic sweet fruitiness. Present bitternes, mid carbonated. Typical Heller Bock ...

Braugold Bock, 6,8 %, Flasche von Edeka, Niederorschel. - Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase bocktypisch schweres, derbes Wiener- und Karamelmalz und ruppige herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk fett karamelmalzig mit rosiniger Süße, etwas Nuß und Honig, ein Hauch von Scheuerpulver, abgerundet durch frische aber derbe krautig-orangenbittere Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig, nicht restlos kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang plumpe malzige Bittere und rauhe Hopfenherbe. - Aromatisch derber Industriebock, immerhin tief malzig und schön bitter. Durchaus noch trinkbar. (21.11.2021.)

Klare dunkel goldene Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch scharf malzig, etwas Getreide. Geschmack scharf malzig, Getreide, leicht hopfig bitter, unrund.

* Old rating, 0,5l crown-top bottle, best before 20.03.06. Süßlich-malziges Bier. Schon fast dickflüssig, spannende Aromen (leicht scharf, gewürzig, süßlich-honigartig). Leicht bitter im Nachgeschmack. Spannend, mir aber zu dickflüssig.

Bottle, danke David. Red golde, creame eggshell lace. Light honey malt and light aromatic nose. Chalky, peppery malt base, dry minerally edges, honey, dry bitterhop finish, leafy aftertaste. Medium body, chewy tinny. Not that harmonious in my oppinion.

Bottle in Jena. Shiny orange-golden body - nice! Medium sized white head that went away slowly. Fruity grainy nose. Soft fruity malt carried on cheese, bit sticky. Maltiness ends up dry. Perhaps on the best example, but one of the typical ones.

Bottle looks a bit lilke a cheap beer. Beer in the glass better, zippy, nice head. Hoppy aroma. Starts strong, hoppy-dry, more and more spicy. Some alcoholic hints. Finish well balanced, still fine spicy. A good bock!

Sehr süßer Antrunk mit mild herbem Beiton. Gewürzig-getreidig, für eine Bock deutlich zu mild. Kaum hellmalzig, dafür süß und klebrig, Der Abgang zeugt sich kurz und wenig intensiv. 9/8/8/7/6/7
