Dry-hopped with Cascade hops in our open fermenters, our IPA boasts a bright floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of pine and lemon peel. The pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied caramel and biscuity malt character with a nutty finish. It showcases many subtle earthy bitter notes, rather than the resinous citrus-rind bite often featured in many American-style IPA’s. Silver medal winner in the Classic English-Style Pale Ale category at 2015 GABF.

A hazy orange beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with some spicy notes that stings in the nose amongst the spices are spruce. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong notes of spruce as well as light notes of grass and oranges - reminds me mostly of a good christmas beer. The body is a bit thin.

Bottle, part of a sampler pack. Pour is hazy orange / copper. Decent head that held for awhile. Lots of bright hops in the nose. Taste has a bit of malt, lots of hop and an acidic finish. Nice IPA.

draft sampler at the brewery - Pours up clear and copper colored with a nice head. The aroma is fairly mild citrus hops. Medium bodied and focused on the hops, as one expects of an IPA, it’s still pretty well balanced. It’s good, but could probably stand to be punched up a little.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a hazy amber golden with a gigantic, frothy, shaving foam style head with good retention. Very citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied, fairly sweet with very fruity - citrus and peach - notes. Dry, bitter finish. 211006

Bottle pours a clear medium orange/amber with a huge foamy white head. Leaft clumps of merange likelacing. Aroma is spicy, peppery and a bit cardboardy. Flavor is a mostly malts. Woody and a bit swet. That brown grocery bag paper note and some fruity hops. Not very bitter except fo the aftertaste which is a bit unpleasant. An IPA that does infact belong in the bottom 30% for its style

A nice beer, seemingly capturing components of both british and PNW style IPAs. The malts are chewy, with caramel and butterscotch. The hops are fresh, medium strength with orange rind and grapefruit citrus, and also tending toward a piney resin character. Medium bitter finish. Cloudy copper color, big foaming head. As with their other beers, this one featured an amateurish homebrew feel, from the crooked labels to the "stale extract"-style twang in the finish. On the whole a nicely designed IPA, just not overly well executed.

Bottled. A good sharp hop smell at the pour. I get a nice slightly cloudy coppery body (bit of floaty haze) under a good frothy IPA head. Taste is nice toasty barley malts that go well with the fresh dry hops. Sticky sweet on the lips. A nice example that sticks closely to style. Found this at Meier Foods in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Note, 12/2/06: I had a chance to try it on tap at Arcadia now, and as one might suspect, it comes across a bit better when on draft. Check it out if you can.

A very smooth ipa. The hops and bitterness are light and it makes the beer easy to drink. Refreshing. Aroma is mostly hops. Gold, with a small white head that leaves a lace. Flavors of very light fruit and mildly bitter hops. Fairly good palate; which might be its best quality.
