/11/11/11//11

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Dim golden with a diminishing white head. Aroma is acidic fruity, citric, barnyard and light malty. Flavor is strange and funky, not bad but difficult to describe. Light malty, lots of fruit, acidic, funky and bitter. It’s simply a complex mix of Lambic and hops, and I normally like both. Really interesting, actually enjoyed this a lot. One of my favorites from Revelation Cat so far.

On tap. Slightly hazy amber golden with a tiny off-white head. Medium body, flat, fresh and sophisticated Brett accents leaving a light acidity on the lips. Only a wee whiff of the hops. 080510

On tap at KØ-10, as Single Dry Hop Series Girardin Amarillo Lambik. A hazy, golden beer with a small, off-white head. Barnyard and citrus note with some pine cones and tropical fruits. Dry, medium to full body with lemon and a slightly rubbery touch. Not as much impact from the hops as in the aroma. Dry, lemony finish. A nice one indeed, but sort of strange too, probably due to the dry-hopping of the lambic. 100506

(Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen, 19 June 2010) Pale amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity, tart nose with notes of citrus, grass, lactic acid and old sweaty socks. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, peaches and a slightly lactic acidity mingling with citric hops in the finish. Medium body, dry. Very tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

6th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Hazy gold beer, tiny white suddy head. Dry palate. Sour but not overly so - certainly no pucker induced! A litte bit of lemon and a whisper of Amarillo hop fruit. Finishes dry. Lambic is not really my thing so this is likely to be a better beer than I am giving it credit for.

Handpumped at KØ10. Good hoppy aroma. The flavour starts off quite sour, acidic and good. Quite lemony. Hazy golden colour. Must be extremely good after some pints.
