Smak och doft av jäst, gröna äpplen, vitt vin, gräs och örter och toner av aprikos. Frisk och syrlig.

375ml bottle. Pours gold with no head. Aroma is sweat, cheese and lemonade. Taste has lots of lemon, flat lemonade and mild cheese in the lightly sour finish.

Bottle at THE Sour and Saison Tasting, London. This bottle was one of my additions. Pours faintly hazy yellow-gold with a light, white cream head. Dirty grass aroma. Light sweet flavor with more grass, dust, dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly bitter to finish with mellow tang, some rindy lemon, cobwebs, mild dirty grass. Pretty nice.

Bottle, thanks to Leighton at THE sour tasting. It pours cloudy yellow, with a medium white head. The nose is spice, strong yeast character, farmyard, earth, wood and some sulphur. The taste is tart lemon, grapefruit, pomello, tanginess, earth, barnyard, underlying sweetness, spice, dust, lemonade and light acidity, with a dry, lightly tart finish. Tastes like a proper unblended oude lambic. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent.

Cloudy amber beer. Earthy fruity nose, geuze like. Dry palate. Sour citric fruit, very dry. A little dusty. Like a mild geuze with fruit. Interesting flavour but too dry by far.

-/9/9/10/12/10

Bottle pulled by Manuele from somewhere in the depths of the shared cellar with Bir&Fud & Makke. Gusher. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of sour and dusty lemon peel. Taste is sour grapefruit. Every bit as good as a Belgian lambic.

(Bottle) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with brief bubbly white head. Fruity, tart nose with citrus, unripe grapes, green apples and the unmistakable cheesey, sweaty lambic aromas. Tart, fruity taste with notes grapes, grapefruit, green apples and a dry, sour finish with hints of hay and dust. Medium body, dry, with soft carbonation. Very nice, doesn’t really reach the complexity of the best Belgian lambics and gueuzes, but still ... I’m impressed.
