Bottle. No ABV or BBD. The back label seems to be missing. Malty and slightly oxidised aroma. Almost clear golden colour, sparkling. Big stable white head. The flavour is malty and dusty with a papery and bready note. Low bitterness. Mild and friendly.

Bottle at home. Light to medium blonde color, white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, some bread, sweetish grainy a bit. Decent body, average carbonation.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 12/2021, lot#042.

Goed smakelijk bier.

Bottle from LDW, Eke. Golden colour, white foam. Yeasty, light citrussy notes, bit sourish, also banana sweetness. Not very well balanced.

27/VII/17 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbenconk) @ holidays - BB: VIII/2019 (2017-1137)
Clear blond beer, lots and lots of small tiny specks floating under a small white head, falls down quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit funky, dirty, smoky touch? Something rather offensive, rotten stuff, some cabbage, sourish, oxidized, lots of oxidation actually. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: yeast, bit spicy, peppery touch, slightly sourish, banana peel, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: yeast, unpleasant bitterness, bit sourish, dirty, spicy, bit peppery, banana peel.

Pours rather clear blonde, ok white head.Smell is bit yeasty, some malts. taste is sharp, starts rather bitter. Quickly turns yeasty, but remains to have that touch of freshness. OK beer, in general, but it has all been done before way too many times already.

New - commissioned - Géants beer, bottle from Willems in Grobbendonk. Tightly ’papery’ lacing, thick, moussy, snow white, stable head over a clear and warm ’old gold’ coloured beer, hazy straw blonde with sediment. Aroma of banana and some bubblegum, canned pineapple slices, honey, peach, tulips, ripe gooseberries, breakfast cereals, sorrel, green tea, camomile, old ginger, sweat, white bread dough, withered garden weeds, powder sugar, apple juice, chalk, dried basil. Fruity onset, crisp and fairly clean, sweet banana, yellow plum and pear with a sourish gooseberry flavor underneath, some residual white candi sugar, supple and lean mouthfeel with sharpish carbonation without being overcarbonated. Pale malt sweetness in the middle, a tad honeyish, very lightly caramelly with sharper and drier grainy edges, becoming softly bitter in the end, herbal and a bit spicy, very floral as well; malt and fruit ’juiciness’ gets the last word. Very classically styled Belgian blonde, highly drinkable, no ambitions at international greatness here but clean and very correct.
